On World Environment Day, Monday the 5th of June, there will be a colourful flotilla to occupy and disrupt the world's largest coal exporting port - Newcastle Harbour. Canoes, kayaks, surfboards, surf-skis, tinnies, rafts, floating banners, flags and people paddling together against Australia's massive contribution to climate chaos through coal exports. It is extremely important that the NSW Labor government embraces clean renewable energy. Join us outside the Labor conference to demand:

  • A legislated renewable energy target of 15% by 2012 in NSW
  • A stop to Anvil Hill coal mine
  • Investment in public transport in NSW
