Anvil Hill Project Watch Association are holding an Aboriginal Heritage Survey weekend camp at Withers Property, Lot 168 Bells Lane, Denman. The purpose of this weekend is to conduct Aboriginal Heritage surveys under the instruction of Archaeologist Trudy White and her assistant Tracy Skene. The site has proved rich in Aboriginal artefacts and shows promise for significant finds.
This weekend is an opportunity for you, your family and children as they assist Trudy and Tracey in the field, to discover past traditional owners usage of the land. This work is voluntary unpaid work for identification, conservation and protection of Aboriginal Heritage on the property. The camp will be catered (except for breakfast and special dietary needs) for a small fee of $15.00 per day per head to cover costs and insurance requirements.
We require an RSVP by 17th March for an indication of numbers, for catering purposes. Contact Christine Phelps on (mobile) 0418 478 011 or (land line) 02 6547 8011 or by email at christine.phelps
